Help Us Collect School Supplies for Colorado Students

Larry H. Miller Dealerships continues its longstanding support of youth education initiatives through its partnership with Denver7 and The Salvation Army for the annual Pack A Backpack school supply drive July 5th to July 31st, 2022. The campaign aims to help ease the financial burdens for Colorado families and provide students across the Denver metro area with the supplies they need to succeed in school.

"Larry H. Miller Dealerships knows that education is the key to unlock the doors of opportunity for Colorado youth," said Ray Reilly, senior vice president of operations, Larry H. Miller Dealerships. "We remain committed to ensuring children are prepared on day one and have the proper resources they need to start the school year off right."

A Community Coming Together

Throughout July, Larry H. Miller dealerships will encourage customers and community members to help fill a vehicle at each of its 9 Denver locations with school supplies. This year's needs include backpacks, pencils, highlighters, scissors, binders, rulers and calculators. Collection bins will be at Larry H. Miller locations in Denver, Aurora, Centennial, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, Thornton, and Federal Heights. 

In addition, monetary contributions can be made online at salarmy.us/PackABackpackLHM. A donation of just $15 can provide a backpack filled with supplies for a child in need. The campaign will benefit qualifying students throughout Colorado in grades 1 through 8 who receive assistance from The Salvation Army and designated Title I schools throughout Denver.
